Mill On The River will always hold a special place in our hearts, as that is the venue where our wedding was held. It was just as beautiful as we remembered it. This bride and groom had a perfect day for a wedding under the gazebo, by the river.

On this fall day in Westport, Connecticut, it poured BUCKETS. The bride and groom had big plans for portraits at their beautiful Connecticut farm...and Mother Nature had other plans! We made it work, though, and we were able to create some beautiful wedding portraits in spite of it all!

I had the pleasure of working with this beautiful model in New Jersey, at the Cliff Mautner Bootcamp. She was stunning in her bridal gown, a delicate veil falling just right and capturing the light around her. The workshop was a game-changer for me and the way I photograph weddings.

This spot in Barkhamsted, Connecticut is one of the most stunning we've ever seen, especially for wedding portraits. You can see the love this couple has for each other from a mile away...and I didn't even have to "direct" them. This wedding portrait speaks volumes about love and the idea of "meant for each other".

Victoria and Randy were married in Derby, Connecticut this past October. I could tell right from our first contact that photography was very important to Victoria. She imagined beautiful outdoor couple portraits, against the backdrop of the farm that she and Randy share. So she was careful to plan a good, long stretch of portrait time, between the ceremony and the reception. But, as much as we’d all hoped for a beautifully perfect day, Mother Nature had other plans. That day in October turned out to be one of the rainiest days we’ve seen in quite some time.

Backyard Wedding in Wolcott, Connecticut

Weddings in New England can be unpredictable, to say the least. On this fall day in Wolcott, Connecticut, near-hurricane conditions loomed. We made it through the backyard wedding ceremony and the bride and groom portraits just in time. As we headed to the tent for the reception, the skies opened up and the wind raged. It didn't stop these two, though. And the whole party simply took off their shoes and danced in the mud!
